Mountain Path Studio has been around since 1987. It is owned and operated by artist Philip Read.

'My painting style is a uniquely contemporary fusion of Eastern and Western technique that has developed naturally over the past 35years and derives from my study of Chinese Art and Japanese Art since 1983. My influences include British watercolor artist John Cell Cotman, poet William Wordsworth and American artists Andrew Wyeth and Cy Twombly. I have a Masters degree in Studio painting and Critical Theory. My dedication, focus and enjoyment of ceramic painting is an increasing flow of creative energy.' pread
